The sun shines first on Suffolk, so make a plan to enjoy the wonderful landscape, heritage, community groups, venues and organisations across the county. This year's Suffolk Day was on Tuesday 21 June and was part of the Festival of Suffolk, the county's unique celebration of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. History of Suffolk Day
In 2016, Mark Murphy of BBC Radio Suffolk was inspired to recognise everything that makes Suffolk great and, along with Archant, the County Council, and many other stakeholders, created the now famous Suffolk Day. For several years now, the good folk of Suffolk have celebrated all that makes this county great on the longest day of the year.
